This web site is designed to provide you with an understanding
of the three financial phases of life called Wealth Creation,
Wealth Distribution, and Wealth Conservation. These three
phases make up the complete process of Personal Financial
Engineering. All three phases should be reviewed and analyzed
simultaneously throughout one's lifetime in order to achieve
the best results.
The Wealth Creation phase focuses on saving
and investing money for both current and future needs, wants,
and desires such as cars, homes, appliances, children's education
or for one's own retirement. Most people are persuaded to
compound interest, use dollar-cost-averaging, allow dividends
and capital gains to be reinvested, and have a tax deferred
retirement plan such as an IRA, 401K etc. Many of these techniques
have advantages but also contain disadvantages that if unchecked
will seriously erode one's wealth. Personal Financial Engineering
will assist you in avoiding these common mistakes while providing
an efficient and effective strategy to create more wealth.
The Wealth Distribution process is the phase
when people need or want their money. It can be very costly
if one has not properly planned for its occurrence. Excessive
income taxes, early withdrawal penalties, sales charges, restrictions
or inflationary pressures can substantially reduce the distribution
of one's wealth. Personal Financial Engineering will assist
you in overcoming these eroding forces when you want the distribution
of your wealth.
The last phase of a financial life is called Wealth
Conservation. Leaving wealth to family or to others
we choose without considerable wealth erosion is not an easy
matter. Entire wealth estates have been dramatically reduced
because of the lack of planning. Estate taxes, income taxes,
attorney fees, accounting fees, appraisals, penalties, sales
charges, and forced sale of assets are waiting to confiscate
your wealth and provide frustration and distress to your heirs.
Personal Financial Engineering provides the framework for
a smooth and efficient transition of one's wealth with the
least amount of erosion while still allowing for complete
control and enjoyment of the assets.
